We’re headed to Africa!
The twenty-second Earth Treasure Vase will be buried in Liberia on the winter solstice.
I write this as I prepare for my journey to Liberia where I will be taking the next treasure vase on its global journey. All of our full moon practice offerings and prayers for the vase over this last year will be joined by the powerful intentions for peace by our friends in Liberia. Traveling with me is Open Way Sangha member from Norway, Tertit Ring. Together we will be bringing the treasure vase practice to a Traditional Elders Council in Voinjama. This Council has invited other traditional elders from neighboring Guinea and Sierra Leone to participate in the vase ceremony along with community members, former combatants, their peacebuilding mentors, and staff of everyday gandhis. It will be a profound opportunity to build peace and join our prayers to bless and bury this vase dedicated to peace, reconciliation and restoring the land and its people in the entire region.
