Earth Treasure Vase: Global Healing Project
Linking our world in a practice of planetary protection & renewal.

Global Youth Communication Council

“Peace and the survival of life on earth as we know it are now threatened by human activities that lack a commitment to humanitarian values. Destruction of nature and natural resources results from ignorance, greed and lack of respect for the earth’s living things. Our ancestors viewed the earth as rich and bountiful, which it is. Many people in the past also saw nature as inexhaustibly sustainable, which we know is the case only if we care for it. It is not difficult to forgive destruction in the past that resulted from ignorance. Today however, we have access to more information, and it is essential that we reexamine ethically what we have inherited, what we are responsible for and what we will pass on to coming generations.

Clearly, this is a pivotal generation. Global communication is possible, yet confrontations take place more often than meaningful dialogue for peace. Our marvels of science and technology are matched, if not outweighed, by many current tragedies, including human starvation in some parts of the world and extinction of other life forms. Many of the earth’s habitats, animals and plants that we know as rare may not be known at all by future generations. We have the capacity and the responsibility. We must act before it is too late.” –H.H DALAI LAMA

Evon Peter, Raji Mandelkorn, and Asdrubal Torres are just a few of the committed young people around the world who will be participating in the Global Youth Communication Council

The Global Youth Communication Council will empower global leadership on behalf of the Earth by providing a meaningful network through the Earth Treasure Vase mandala and 2012 Spacebridge that will allow young people to connect in dialogue from remote locations around the world. This Council will be dedicated to inspiring a new grassroots movement that can bring forth its own wisdom along with the indigenous wisdom of the elders for the sustainability of our shared environment. The first action of the Council after learning the innovative “spacebridge” communication technologies will be to create and produce the 2012 Spacebridge.
